In 2023, the introduction of external ODM products and unit shipments will increase, and customers will have different requirements for quality. At the same time, the Suzhou factory further promotes high-speed and automation processes, increases in-house production of products, and increases challenges. In this context, the difficulty of quality management is increasing day by day. How to establish a quality system under the new production model and continue to maintain and improve it has become a major issue in quality management of key factories.
In order to achieve "zero quality defect rate", the factory has launched a company-wide quality improvement project led by the quality department and involving multiple departments such as manufacturing, human resources, and sales promotion centers since November 8, 2023. This project is centered on the manufacturing site. By strengthening the quality awareness of front-line managers and modifying and improving the education system, it will ultimately achieve the specific goal of establishing, improving, and sustaining on-site quality benchmarks and regulations that are more suitable for the current business. The following is relevant content of specific activities:
5S3T group

Maintain a factory that effectively promotes 5S3T work in the long term and creates a healthy, safe and comfortable working environment.
It has been 28 years since the Suzhou factory was established. Excellent and stable product quality has helped us gain praise and trust from customers all over the world. In order to better inherit and maintain good quality control, the factory carried out a three-month (December 2023 to February 2024) activity to strengthen 5S3T, and systematically promoted the "Preparation of 5S3T training materials", "Class Line leader theory and on-site teaching", "on-site independent organization and rectification", "leaders' participation in project inspection guidance", "implementation of improvement countermeasures", "appraisal of outstanding teams" and other measures. After the event progressed, we received a lot of feedback from on-site employees. Everyone expressed that their workplace has become more comfortable, it is faster and more convenient to get items, and the working environment is safer.




Next, our goal is to enable employees to establish good working habits of 5S3T. As the famous American writer Hodge said: "Behaviors become habits, habits develop character, and character determines destiny." Therefore, the power of habits is amazing. Developing good habits will not only benefit individuals throughout their lives, but also benefit the workplace. In other words, you can also reduce waste, reduce costs, and continue to enjoy the management effects of 5S3T.
Internal process review team


Factory technology plays an important role in how to implement efficient production of new products in the manufacturing department.
From November to December 2023, under the organization of the quality assurance department, we will conduct a comprehensive review of the internal processes of the factory technology. Relevant department personnel actively identify problems and find ways and means to solve them through repeated meetings and discussions. After two months of sorting out, the factory technical department has become clearer and more specific about the entire new product implementation process. We believe that through continuous improvement and consolidation, we will be able to build a production system that provides stable quality.
Countermeasure execution team

In order to implement the quality improvement countermeasures into personnel, on-site management, processes & regulations, and prevent similar defects from happening again, we have taken the following two measures: 1. For the failure to implement countermeasures caused by personnel changes, implement targeted long-term reverse measures Supervision and management through assessment. 2. Discuss the improvement content of countermeasures against defects through quality improvement joint meetings held twice a month.
Compliance and Awareness Raising Team

Based on the criticism points discovered during the internal audit of the manufacturing site, multiple roundtable discussions were held with manufacturing managers and supervisors to discuss and analyze the criticism points one by one, and discover the essence behind the problem through the appearance, and use this as a starting point to develop standardized training courseware , and the manufacturing manager serves as a lecturer to re-educate the manufacturing line leaders on their work specifications and quality awareness, so that everyone not only knows "what it is" and "how to do it", but also "why it needs to be done", so as to A rigorous attitude maintains our consistent manufacturing standards.
Future work outlook
We need to adapt to changes in the external environment and customer needs with ever-changing business strategies, but excellent manufacturing capabilities are our foundation. We will always maintain our original intention of providing customers with excellent QCDS, move forward steadily, and forge ahead.
